She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin F. "Buddy" Walden; and her parents, Maude Burrow Stivener and Rev. Sebern Odis Stivener. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Clark (Charles) and Amy Holcomb (Scott); and her grandchildren, Charlie Clark, Stace, Reeve and Elyse Holcomb.
