She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Hester and Katherine Martie; and her sister Loretta Smith. She is survived by: her son Shannon McVicker (Vanessa) of Ohio; her close friend Robert H. Taylor; and her siblings, Nell Fite, Vance Hester and Rick Hester. She is also survived by two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
