He is survived by: his wife Gloria Smith of Sheffield, AL; his children, Jimmy H. Smith Jr. (LaKeisha) of Atlanta, GA, Ray Garner of Atlanta, GA, Alexanderia Coleman (Lazell) of Simpsonville, SC, Tameka Jarmon of Atlanta, GA and Shamar Horrison of Sheffield, AL; his grandchildren, Jalen Abernathy, Cameron Campbell, Messiah Smith, Praise Smith, Vonita Jackson (Anita), Randy Horrison (Kyndra), Tyreshia Horrison and Tariq Garner; his siblings, Joe Smith, Reverend Johnny Smith of Russellville, AL, Virginia Bookert of Muscle Shoals, AL and Tunya Moorer of Akron, OH; his aunts, Myrtelle Pearson, Alma Shropshire of Akron, OH and Minnie Joe Smith of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin Young, Jake Young, Corey Bean, Johnny Lee Nance Sr., Terry Young (Allison), Jerry (Patricia) of Maryland, Larry Carroll (Donna), Tommie Carroll, Arthur Carroll (Shirley), Earest Carroll, Tori Bean, Jessie Neloms, Brenda Carroll, Jackquelyn Carroll and Vera Carroll. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
