With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen P. Brooks Behel of Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer R. Brooks and Ludie Tubbs Brooks; her son Paul Behel; the father of her children O'Neal Behel; and her brothers, Edward Brooks, Donald Brooks and Junior Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby O. Behel (Linda) and Wendel R. Behel (Lisa); her brothers, Russell Brooks (Pat) and Milton Brooks; and her grandchildren, Barrett Behel, Brian Behel, Jane Behel, Joe Roberson, Tiffany Miller and Trenton Wright. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
