It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Allen Pinkston of Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Jones Pinkston; his parents, George Pinkston and Jewel Pinkston; his stepbrother Durrell Rutledge; and his granddaughter Emily Pinkston.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Willis, Robert Pinkston and Dennis Scott Pinkston (Dina); his grandchildren, Chris Willis, Tim Willis, Warren Pinkston, Matthew Pinkston, Michael Pinkston and Joshua Pinkston; and his great grandchildren, Ally Willis, Josie Willis and Emily Willis.
