He is survived by: his wife Diane Faust-Kiser; his stepson Jordan Faust; and his nieces and nephews, Morgan Maxwell and Paul Maxwell.

“I am heartbroken. I just learned of Galen’s passing on one of the medical websites. I was his lab partner in medical school and of course we sat next to each other due to last names ( mine being Kohn). He and I were shall I say slightly more mature than the average age of our classmates as we were both born in 1949. We were both pharmacists prior to med school. So we had a lot in common also both being veterans. God bless family as he is and will be missed Wayne Kohn”
