It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fonda Hawks Carroll of Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hawks and Esta Hawks; and her daughters, Lisa Louise Griffin and Regina Lynn Cottrell. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Carroll, Shaun White and James Carroll III; and her brother Paul Hawks. She is also survived by 21 loving grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
