He was predeceased by: his parent Iller Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Pearlie Johnson; his daughter Sabrina D. Byrd of Sheffield, AL; his granddaughters, Charity Nicole Smith and Katrina Keyshawn Smith; his great grandchildren, Montravious O'Neal Yarbrough of Sheffield, AL, Giovanni Tay'von Acklin of Sheffield, AL and London Nicole Smith-Flint of Sheffield, AL; and his siblings, Bethenia Smith of Muscle Shoals, AL, Willie Mae Jackson of Las Vegas, NV, James Johnson (Marrisa) of Norway, John Paul Johnson (Linda) of Muscle Shoals, AL and David Earl Johnson of Sheffield, AL. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
