She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Theo Thompson and Gracie Mae Harrison Thompson; her husband Charles Henry Crum Sr.; her son Eric Lamont Crum; and her great grandchild Kaylan Ricks.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn; her children, Sondress "Cookie" Crum Langford of Atlanta, GA, Charles Crum Jr. (Jennifer) of Leighton, AL, Mike Crum (Thyrel) of Fairburn, GA, Nicole Crum Ingram (Terrence) of Tuscumbia, AL, Dawn Crum Wilson (Carl) of Huntsville, AL, Shannon Crum (Latarsha) of Sheffield, AL, Lykesha Crum of Sheffield, AL and Quintin Crum of Jacksonville, FL.; and her sister-in-law Rose Crum-Johnson of Suwanee, GA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson and Son Funeral Home (400 S Washington St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (1103 Sterling Blvd, Sheffield, AL 35660). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Luketown Cemetery.
