It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Easter Calbert (Sheffield, Alabama), who passed away on May 10, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smith and Lucille Smith; and her brother Jerome Smith. She is survived by: her aunt Easter; her husband Curtis Calbert; her children, Anthony (Sharmel) of Dayton, Ohio, Bryant Hunter of Brooklyn, Sandra Calbert and Amanda Calbert of Dayton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Aleshia, Brittney, Kelli, Devon, Bryant Jr., Imari, Latraveon, Latorveon, Damarion, Aden, Jaylah and Ariyah; her siblings, Annie Lewis of Dayton, Cynthia Mitchell (John), Clarissa Smith of Toledo, Dionne Wilson (Joaquin) of Cincinnati, James Smith Jr., Jefferson Smith Dayton, Cecil Willingham Dayton and Allen Easterling Dayton; her sisters-in-law, Carrie Zelaya of Gulfport, Sharon Calbert, Marilyn Gandy, Mildred Calbert of Hattiesburg, Catherine Jones (Wilbert) of Meridian, Annie Eaton of Detroit and Mary Blanks of Dayton, Ohio; her niece Anita Calbert; and her nephew Staten Calbert of Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
