He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Phillips and Norma Phillips; and his son Benjamin Young Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Young Phillips; and his brothers, Jimmy Phillips (Dora) of Jacksonville, FL and Ronnie Phillips (Mary) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
