He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Armstrong and Rip Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Judy Heiskell Armstrong; his sons, Donald Leon Armstrong Jr. (Mary) and David Heiskell Armstrong (Sandy); his grandchildren, Mary Rachel Armstrong, David Samuel Armstrong (Abby Jane) and Jacob Andrew Armstrong; and his great grandchild Anna Claire Armstrong.
