He is survived by: his sister Gloria "Doll" Thompson-Smith; his children, Connie Jones, Elaine Thompson, Keith Thompson, Pam Thompson-Compton and Melba Thompson-Whiteside (Henry); and his grandchildren, Chanda, Crystal, Kim, Brandon, Jared, Keith, Candice, Tiffanie, Tabatha, John Curtis, Kiara and Kayla.
