In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Box, Sr. and Margie Joyner Box; and his brother Jimmy Box. He is survived by: his siblings, J. C. Box, Jr. (Helen), Danny Box (Mary), Carolyn Tibbs, Nelda Mitchell (Sonny) and Kathy Alvey (Chris); and his sons, Michael Box (Jamie), Matthew Box and Andrew Box (Karrie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
