He is survived by: his wife Shirley Whitehead; his sons, Marlon Hamm (Carla), Mark Alsobrooks (Nicole), Charles Bass (Tonia), William Whitehead (Stephanie) and Billy Brewer; and his grandchildren, Zac Hamm (Maegan) and Elizabeth Harris (Tyler).
