She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Kiser and Sybil Kiser Erwin; and her siblings, Herman, James, Wesley, David Kiser and Rosemary Davis.

She is survived by: her husband David H. Johnson; her children, Paige Rushing (Keith) and Chris Johnson; her sister Eleanor Todd (Jim); her grandchildren, Ben Ridgeway, Katie, Alex Ridgeway (Marlee Tigner) and Alexus Johnson; her great grandchild Hudson Ridgeway; and her sister-in-law Leslie Kiser. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Tuscumbia.
