She was predeceased by: her son Jason Lee Terry; her mother Flora May Nix; her sisters, Connie Nix and Doris Hatton; and her granddaughter Jessica Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, Shayne Terry and Michelle Alexander (Joe); her grandson JJ Alexander; and her sister Sandra Elom (Jerry).
