He is survived by: his children, Sharon Shurett O'Neal (Glen), William Shurett, Jr. (Rebecca) and Rebecca Anne Shurett; his grandchildren, Jennie Murphy (Scott), Leslie Leatherwood (Barry), Joshua Shurett and William Shurett; and his sister Bettye Gaye Keeton (Hershel).
