She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Thompson and Leona Thompson; her husband R. M. "Buddy" Heathcoe; her daughter Faye Morgan; her son-in-law Ray Morgan; and her siblings, Mary Katherine Manning, Sophie Grantham, Sue Coaker, Doris Beasley, Alberta Beech, R. C. Thompson, Leroy Thompson and Kenneth Thompson.

She is survived by: her son Danny Heathcoe (Gail); her stepson Eric Heathcoe; her siblings, Frances Ledbetter, Edith Tate, Jerry Thompson (Margie) and Dean Thompson (Mary Ann); and her grandchildren, Tracy Tarver (John), Scott Heathcoe (Angela), Kim Irwin (Shawn) and Neil Morgan (Brandi). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
