She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Hughes and Keron Thomas; her sons, Thomas Johnson and Darrell Johnson; and her husband Gene King.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Neidhardt (Sonny) of Eight Mile and Johnny Johnson (Pat) of Mobile, Alabama; and her siblings, Joyce Lewis, Ben Landon (Sarah) and Jimmy Landon (Rachael). She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
