It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renovia Johnston of Semmes, Alabama, born in McIntosh, Alabama, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Johnston; her children, James Keith Johnston and Wanda Landry; and her grandson Randal Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Norman Johnston (Carol Jane), Karen Pierce, Shelby Lynn Johnston and Belinda Smith (Steve); her grandchildren, Robert Johnston, Ashlee Byrd, Brandon Johnston (Kayla), Courtney Pierce, Justin Pierce, Ellery Landry, Jamie Cordova (Chris), Hannah Smith and Stevie Smith; and her brother Amos. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Whether it was by opening her home to people who needed a place to stay, or by donating her time and resources to charity, Renovia was always there to make a difference in the lives of others.
