Maurice Vickery Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Vickery of Semmes, Alabama, born in Huxford, Alabama, who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maurice Vickery to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Comer and Eva Mae Weston Vickery; and his siblings, Mary Rice, Jean Majors, Clarice Walls, Dalton Vickery and Comer Earle Vickery.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Vickery of Semmes, AL; his children, Anthony Vickery (Shannon) of Enterprise, AL, Shelley White (Bruce) of Eight Mile, AL and Kimberly Freeman (James) of Semmes, AL; and his siblings, Dennis Vickery of Jackson, AL, Gloria Thomas of Bay Minette, AL, Gaynell Drew (Wayne) of McCullough, AL and Janice Fincham (Albert) of Gordansville, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to help with funeral expenses or the American Cancer Society.
