She is survived by: her parents, Vaudy Powell and Alma Powell; her siblings, Wayne Powell, Donnie Powell, John Powell, Blanche Smith, Lillian Howard, Edith Marie and Mary Powell; her children, Gary Byrd (Cynthia), Craig Byrd (Misty), Cindy Duiett (Bobby), Donnette Williams (Greg) and Karen Byrd; her siblings, Glen Powell, Raymond Powell, Bruce Powell, Frances McRaney, Georgene Killiam and Faye Adams; and her friend Janice Jackson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
