He was predeceased by: his brothers, David Fisher and Troy Fisher; his stepsons, Randy Dodd and Timothy Dodd; his siblings-in-law, Patsy Fisher, CarolAnn Fisher and Ron Hester; and his granddaughter Amber Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Fisher; his children, Joseph Fisher, III, David Fisher, Paula Johnson (Billy) and Kathy Warlick; his stepchildren, Arleen Himes (Mel), Kathy Rives (Larry), George Dodd and Phillip Dodd (Lisa); his siblings, Jimmy Fisher (Jimmie Carol), Herbert Fisher (Pam), Louie Fisher (Peggy), George Fisher and Margie Hester; his sister-in-law Marilyn Fisher; and his cousin Nita King. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
