He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecca Ann Gilmore; his wife Willie Louise; and his brother Delma Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Phillip Wayne Gardner (Diane) of Semmes and Daphne; his sister Goldie Ann Montgomery (Roger) of Pleasant Grove, AL; his sons, William D. Gardner (Martha Anne), Greg C. Gardner (Wendy), Darren R. Gardner and Goldie Ann Montgomery (Roger); his sister Rebecca Ann Gilmore; his daughter Willie Louise Gardner; his wife Dee Arville Gardner; his parents, Rossie Vaughn Gardner and Delma Gardner; and his siblings, Gurstel Gardner, Oma-Dee West Oliver and Zara Ruth Chandler. He is also survived by Sister He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
