He was predeceased by: his parents, Braxton Maben Lyles and Velma Lyles (Simmons); his wife Vera Lee Lyles; and his brother-in-law Raymond Marion Byrd. He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Lyles Byrd; his nephews, Braxton Randall Byrd (Rebecca) and Marion Michael Byrd (Pamela Jean); his niece Rachel Byrd Shaddix (Ronald); his great-nieces, Mary-Claire Marshall (Garrett) and Jessica Lynn Bernal (Ryan); and also, Joseph and Braxton Marshall. He is also survived by animals and children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
