We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2018, at the age of 96, Winfred Brown (Selma, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maude Ellen Jordan Brown; his son Winfred Brown, Jr.; his parents, Horace Bryan and Carrie Lou Brown; his siblings, Earl T. Brown and Doris Brown Paulk; and his grandson Kyle Jordan Atchison.
He is survived by: his children, Durwood Jordan Brown (Karen) and Carolyn Brown Atchison (Ralph Lee); his brother Horace Ross Brown; his grandchildren, Kendall Hibiske (David), Brittany Griffin (Jimmy), Suzanne Atchison Lufkin and Lisa Atchison; and his great grandchildren, Jax Griffin, Aurora Griffin, Ella Hibiske, Avery Hibiske, Noelle Atchison, Ryan Atchison, Gabriel Lufkin, Harper Lufkin, Maverick Griffin, Andrew Hibiske, Lyra Griffin and Titus Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
