It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Chester Deavor (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Wilson; his children, Richard Todd Deavor (Stacy), Kimberly Deavor Barnard (Trey) and Mary Kathryn Ade (Garth); his grandchildren, April Nicole Hardy, William Trenton Barnard, Philip Jackson Barnard, Wilson Harris Barnard, Michael Noah Barnard and Grayson William Ade; and his siblings, Carolyn Hammond, Kay Headrick, Ann Deavor and Chris Deavor. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
