He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allen and Verna G. Swindal; his daughter Donna Nickles; and his siblings, George Stanley Swindal and Wanda G. Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Swindal; his children, Wendy Smith (Chris), Tammy Headley, Bucky Barrett (Dana) and Thomas Swindal, Jr.; his sister Linda S. Roberts; and his son-in-law Wayne Nickles. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Payne's Chapel Cemetery.
