It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Ann (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lawson Stringer and Emma Jean Sewell Stringer; her husband James Parten, Sr.; and her siblings, Fred Stringer, Jr., Dorothy Parten and Patsy Julian.
She is survived by: her children, James Parten, Jr. (Linda) and Susan Parten Gibson; her grandchildren, Christopher S. Parten, Alexander T. Parten, Joe A. Gibson, Jr. and Melissa H. Gibson; and her sister Elizabeth Barger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and step grandchildren.
