It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Eiland of Selma, Alabama, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Mae and Sidney Dee Eiland; and his sister Lorie Deerman. He is survived by: his nephew Alan Duncan; his niece Alanna Eiland; his great-niece Alissa Kay Simmons; his siblings, Marsha Hubbard (Alan), Lisa Simmons (Tommy), Dannie Joe Eiland (Misty) and Eddie Dwayne Eiland; and his close friend Elizabeth Eiland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
