We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022, at the age of 94, Sadie Elizabeth Kilgore of Selma, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Kilgore; her parents, Sadie Rinehart and Otha Rinehart; and her siblings, Will T. Rinehart, Walter O. Rinehart, Otha Rinehart, Jr., Henry Rinehart, James F. Rinehart (Bud), Annie R. Barton, Gladys R. Gable, Mildred R. Weeden and Jean Hartshorn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Batey (late Gwin) of Montgomery and Connie Morton (John) of Selma, Alabama; her grandchildren, Todd Batey (Lee), Angie Frasier, April Airhart and John Robert Morton; her great grandchildren, Elsie, Sadie Marie, Kensie Sue and Daniel Todd; her siblings, Thomas J. Rinehart (Thomasine) of Heiberger, Alabama, Jonnie R. Campbell of Columbia and Shirley R. Fike of Heiberger; and her caregivers, Dorothy Tyus, Lee Dixion, Betty Scott and Louise Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
