He is survived by: his children, Joshua Martin King Barefoot (Jaclyn Behorian) and Alexandria King Manicole (Mark); his mother Maydelle "Peanut" King; his siblings, Kimmie Kay Paxton (Danny), Gilbert Robert "Robbie" King, Jr. (Mary) and Timothy Malcolm King; and his close friends, Neva Alverson, Jody Alverson and Murph. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
