It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Lett of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita M. Lett to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rev. Charles L. Lett; her sons, Charles Jr. Lett, Ryan Lett (Trana), Sean Lett (Neilya) and Rev. Colin Lett; her stepdaughter Kametris Wyatt; and her siblings, Synorvia Scott of Detroit, MI, Lana Hendrix of Detroit, MI, Mae Micou of Detroit, MI, Terri Micou Smith of Jackson, MS, William "Jack" Micou of Jackson, MS and Dr. Verdell Lett Dawson. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was also one of the inaugural directors of the Historic Tabernacle Baptist Church Selma AL Legacy Foundation.
