We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2023, at the age of 70, Rebecca Anne Tackett (Selma, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Louis Tackett and Esther Pearl Cooper Tackett; her brother Stephen Wood Tackett; her nephew Adam Louis Griffin; her brother-in-law Edward L. Griffin; and her great-niece Merritt Katherine Parris.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elizabeth Tackett Griffin and Teresa Tackett Willett (Dennis); her aunt Ruth Stephens; her nieces and nephews, Cade Hunter, Cooper Hunter, Julia Griffin Parris (Matthew) and Elizabeth Griffin Clark (Michael); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Hunter, Sam Hunter, Jackson Anderson, Cort Ousley, Benry Parris, Tyson Parris, Alexis Parris and Ellis Clark; her cousins, Angela Allen (Bill), Julie Stephens, Jane Stephens, Bill Van Tassel (Mary) and Art Mawhinney (Joyce); and also Wrenley Powell.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Becky's honor to Children's of Alabama Foundation.
