He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Dora Benton; his brother Kenny Benton; and his grandson Chase Benton. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Benton, Kerri Blackmon (Jere) and Kayla Harper (Alex); his grandchildren, Claire Benton, Kyle Blackmon, Kaleb Blackmon, Hudson Harper and Embry Harper; and also Mike Benton (Aurelia).
