He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Edward Alexander and Verna Marie Nichols Alexander; and his former wife Karen Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Chance Alexander; his children, Michael Scott Alexander (Lula), Chris Alexander (Christy), Jennifer Rodvelt (Daniel) and Melissa Vardaman; and his sisters, Debbie Poe (Bill), Lisa Hinson and Donna Alexander. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
