It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Dewayne Tyler (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Tyler and Jean Tyler; and his brother David Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Penny Tyler; his daughter Stephanie Smith (Sloan); his grandchildren, Seth, Symone and Sydney; his son Brandon Tyler (Shannon); his grandchildren, Makayla and Caleb; his great grandchild Austin Tyler; his sister Pamela Moss (Henry); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah and Mathyn.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Association in Michael's memory.
