He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gordon; and his siblings, C. J. Gordon, Richard Gordon Jr. Ivory Gordon, Willie Gordon and Theola Gordon McCants.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda, Chequita, Bre of Selma and Tracey of Montgomery; his foster son Christopher Carter of Mobile, Alabama; his siblings, Leroy Gordon (Dorothy), Ray Gordon of Birmingham, Nivory Gordon (Bessie) of Snow Hill, Charles Otis Gordon of Elizabeth, Bishop Jerry Gordon Sr. (Anne) of Pensacola, Florida and Brenda Gordon Lawson of Pensacola, Florida; his uncle Rev. Demus Smith (Mary Ann) of Snow Hill, Alabama; his nieces, Alfreda Gordon Coleman and Kimberly Gordon of Huntsville, Alabama; and his friends, Lea Tidmore and Tommie Garner. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
