It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie L. Sanders Harris of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Reginald L. Harris, Tony B. Harris, Gwendolyn Sanders, Felicia Sanders and Beverly Harris; her siblings, Jake E. Sanders, Lula Sanders Wilson and Irene Sanders Scott; and her friend Morris Sigler. She is also survived by ten grandchildren two brothers-in-laws, four nieces, five nephews.
