She was predeceased by: her husband Coy Helms; her mother Carrie N. Parten; her grandparents, Jessie and Syvilla L. Newsome; her daughter Patricia H. Sides; her son-in-law Charles E. Sides, Sr.; and her sisters, Helen P. Kynard and Emma L. Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Helms (Sheila) of Montgomery, AL and Cindy H. Green of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
