With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Juanita McDanal of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Kinney and Vivian Kinney; her husband James A. McDanal; and her son James William "Bill" McDanal. She is survived by: her children, Leslie T. "Dusty" McDanal and Marydell McQueen (Von); her daughter-in-law Kim McDanal; her grandchildren, James Eric McDanal (Jennifer), Jason Scott McDanal (Crisi), Joshua Lee McDanal (Lyndsey), James Heath McDanal, William Seth McDanal, Sarah Ann McDanal Fancher, Christopher DeVon McQueen (Lindzy), Jonathan Arlington McQueen and Amanda "Mandy" Mary Constance Wasden (Josh); and her great grandchildren, James Eric McDanal, Jr., John Emory McDanal, Baily Nichols, Madison McDanal, Ashlee Jo McDanal, Elijah "Eli" Warren McDanal, Jaxson Cole McDanal, Leah Ann Fancher, Harrison Coleman, Carroll DeVon McQueen and Jackson Anthony McQueen. She is also survived by wife for 66 years, a loving mother and the best, sweetest grandmother.
The family would like to thank the heroes at Park Place and the compassionate Southern Care Hospice team, who cared for her especially during this covid 19 crisis.
