She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie N. Moore and John T. Moore; her husband Marvin Sumerlin; her granddaughter Rachael D. Sumerlin; and her brothers, Tyler Moore, Mack Moore and Franklin Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda S. Wood (Philip B., III), Marvin McKay "Mackey" Sumerlin (Ann) and Patrick J. Sumerlin (Beth); her grandchildren, Natalie W. Griffin (Al), Stephanie W. Motley, Philip Wood, IV (Astrid), Justin Sumerlin (Rachael), Cody R. Sumerlin (Madison) and Zachary Sumerlin (Mandy); her great grandchildren, John Bishop Griffin, Philip Wood (Ashley), Kennedy Wood, Damon Griffin, Kristen Griffin, Gabe Griffin, Haley Hicks, Blaire Motley, Grace Sumerlin and Grant Sumerlin; her great great grandchildren, Hayden Grace Cobb, Oakley R. Wood, Hallie K. Wood and Harper Hicks; and her sister Jane M. Klinner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
