It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorenzo James McGuire of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie McGuire and Mattie Campbell McGuire; and his siblings, Lee Wright McGuire and Laura Bender. He is survived by: his spouse Arfletia McGuire; his children, Lorenzo McGuire Jr., Sonavon McGuire, Devan McGuire (Jazzmine), Tavaris McGuire (Rhonda), Lavarius McGuire, Nikkie Miller, Taumeka Moseley (Leon), RRhonda Pugh (Jeffery), LaFonda McCord and Demetria Martin (Oliver); and his siblings, Alvin McGuire, Iadiana Davis and Bettie Brown. He is also survived by twenty three grand-children, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friend.
