Leon Sealy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, at the age of 83, Leon Sealy (Selma, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gardner Sealy and Kathleen Twilley Sealy; his wife Ruby J. Sealy; his siblings, Elbert Sealy (Luna), Gerald Sealy (Brenda), Willie Mae Pritchett (Echols), Frances Hubbard (Albert), Marian Dryden, Jeanette Tharp and Olga Denmark (Raythel); and his brothers-in-law, Ricky Denny and Wayne Gaston.
He is survived by: his children, Lanell Vogler (James), Belinda Kuhn (Ricky) and Stephen Sealy (Trudy Brooks); his grandchildren, Jayra Smith (Mark), Wendi Roberts, Ricky Vogler (Nicki), Abreanna Kuhn, Alex Kuhn and Jonathan Kuhn (Nimalee); and his siblings, Betty Gaston, Vera Denny, Ralph Sealy (Dayle) and David Sealy (Toni). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
