He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Miles Cressman, Lena Hall (Jordan), Tavis Russell (Jennifer), Matthew Russell, Arista Robison (Kevin), Staar Russell (Jessica), Rozena Bruni, John Windham, Kelli Windham and Corey Windham; and his great grandchildren, Jude Heal, Gavin Russell, Emma Russell, Rowan Russell, Titus Frick, Bless Robison, Noble Robison, Holden Russell, Finn Russell, Carson Russell and Todd Windham.
He is survived by: his wife June; his children, David Russell, Susan Russell and Salli Windham (Butch); his sister-in-law Ann Swertfeger; his nephews, Julian Tait Russell, Jr. and Craig Russell; and also, Frankie Anderson, Cathy Nunnely, Pat Doggett, Denise Felton and Ruth Clouse.
