She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Elizabeth Braswell Thomason and John Francis Thomason; her husband Joseph Herrin Hagood, Jr.; her son Joseph Herrin Hagood, III; her brothers, John Braswell Thomason and Sam Austin Thomason; and her siblings-in-law, Suzanne Pettus Thomason, John Thomas Hagood and Molly Hicks Hagood.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Hagood Alley (Warwick) of Jackson, MS; her grandchildren, Anne Kathryn Hagood, Caroline O'Dale Hagood, Joseph Herrin Hagood, IV, Judith Ivy Alley and Charles Warwick Alley, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Thomason of Montgomery and Margaret Russell Hagood of Mobile. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
