He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Henderson Christian. He is survived by: his children, Meg Meadows (Rob), Catie Childers (Jon), Amy Mathews (Brock) and John Christian (Diana) of Dadeville, AL; his grandchildren, T. J., Tayler Christian, Dempsey, Grace Meadows, Gale, William Mathews, Layne and Emma Childers; and his great grandchild Addison Grace Moore.
