He is survived by: his children, Samuel L. Smith and Jelisa Solomon; and his siblings, Fred Smith (Jeanette), Jasper Smith, Rev. Charles E. Smith (Shirley), Ceola Braxton, Addie L. Hunnington and Arleah V. Edwards. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews cousin and friends.
