He is survived by: his wife Becky Casey Rives; his children, Mary Susan Crovato (John Brian Hale), Drew Rives (Brady), Matthew Casey (Meredith Hall) and Whitney Cook (Braden); his grandchildren, Brody Crovato, Rives Crovato, Coleman Rives, Walton Rives, Cecilia Cook, David Cook and John Braxton Hale; and his siblings, Green Rives (Nancy), Earnest L. Rives and Theresa Rives Wood (Wetzel). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
